Saturday 4th February 1995
Skol Midland Combination Invitation Cup
Coleshill Town 2 v 0 Chelmsley Town
No details available.

The Midland Combination Invitation Cup is a trophy that the league decides who and when teams can enter, when time allows. It wasn't played for every year. This season, because the Mid Com lost ten teams and the Premier league had only 18 teams, the Invitation Cup was played for. Eight teams entered which meant the win over Chelmsley meant Town were in the Semi Final. Very few details are available but the Final was played at Bilston Town between Handrahan Timbers and West Midlands Fire Service with the Timbers winning 3-2. Coleshill must have played one of these two teams in the semi-final but I have no details.

Some confusion here: There was a Midland Invitation Cup and a Midland Invitational Triangular Cup. Coleshill beat Chelmsley 2-0 in I believe the Invitation Cup and lost at some time to Handrahan or WMP in the Semi Final BUT on 21st February Coleshill lost Away at Boldmere St Michaels in the Triangular Cup.
