WE MEET AGAIN – BOLDMERE ST MICHAELS

Boldmere are second on the list of teams we have played the most! Highgate United come first with 80 meetings with Boldmere being 72, the earliest being 1919/20. The two teams have met for League games in the Midland Football League Premier, the Midland Alliance, the Midland Combination, the Sutton & District League, and now in the Northern Premier League Midland Division but they have also met in many cup competitions including the Midland Combination Challenge Cup, the FA Cup, the Birmingham Senior Cup, the Walsall Senior Cup and, the Midland Alliance League Cup! Both sides have a long and rich history going back over 100 years indeed Boldmere have had a book printed to celebrate 125 years of history, “A History Of Boldmere St Michaels FC by Michael Talbot”, check it out!

This season Boldmere are currently in the top Ten with 21 points from their 18 games so far. Coleshill lie Four places below, Four points behind BUT with a game in hand. It's an important game for both clubs but particularly for ex Mikes players, Alex McSkeane, Ben Usher-Shipway, Harry Craven and Harry Sweeney.
