CASTLE BROMWICH NEWS WROTE
In the Midland Combination Challenge Cup game with Stratford on Saturday, Coleshill were held to a 1-1 draw, but could count themselves a little unlucky as they had three shots saved by the woodwork. As it was Stratford took the lead in the 5th minute and it was not until the last minute that Peter Dawkins, who looked sharp throughout, headed in the equaliser. Tom Hardie, although suffering from bruised ribs, returned to the Coleshill team in midfield and gave a fine display. Stan Komoroski will miss the next six weeks for Coleshill, because of suspension and David Colvin is suspended for two weeks.
